Predestined Polish Warbirds went 11-2. Best record they've ever had, best record anyone had that year, and it bought them exactly one thing: third place. Chicago Beanbags came in as the five seed, won three straight, and closed on John Cusack's Other Sister 149–102 for a second title in four years. Rob Maskin took points and all-play and didn't reach the final either. If you're keeping score at home, that's two Warbirds seasons at the top of the standings and two years watching somebody else lift it.
