Week 3/ 12 clubs/ ranked on roster, not history

Everywhere else on this site the numbers decide and there is nothing to argue about. Not here. This is a ranking, which means it is an opinion and it will be wrong. So each club carries its receipts from the same game log — where the order and the figures disagree, that is the part worth reading.

After three weeks. Ranked on roster strength and who is most likely to win it all from here — not on record. Movement is against the week two edition.

The two highest-scoring players in the league are both his — Jaxon Smith-Njigba on 104.06 and Josh Allen on 100.94 — and Patrick Mahomes has watched all three wins from the bench with 80.58. The quarterback slot is producing 33.6 a week, nearly eight clear of anybody else. Tight end and defense have managed 11.9 between them, which is the only argument against him and not much of one at 3-0.

West Seattle Kraken

2this week2week 2

Bijan Robinson, Brock Purdy, Trey McBride and Breece Hall on one roster, 249.06 from the four of them in three weeks, and 81.3% lineup efficiency — the worst in the league by five points. He has left 95.06 on his bench, thirty clear of the next man, Bo Nix's 44.26 and Kenyon Sadiq's 38.60 included. The roster is the best thing here and the management of it is the worst.

Miami Flamingos▼ 2
Orvieto
3this week1week 2

Still the most points in the league at 465.02, still 23-10 against the field, still the second-best backfield in it at 41.0 a week. But the line goes down every Sunday — 180.80, 143.36, 140.86 — one of only two in the league doing that, and 62.94 left on the bench across three weeks says the ceiling is still up there somewhere unused.

He fixed the one slot that was broken. Tyler Shough scored 50.58 on the bench behind Drake Maye, came into the lineup, and returned 29.80 in a 155.80 that is his best week of the season. CeeDee Lamb, Garrett Wilson and D'Andre Swift have 183.30 between them and the receivers are fourth in the league at 50.3 a week. Two straight wins, and the quarterback slot is still only eleventh.

5
Studio City Cavalry▼ 2
Dinsky
5this week3week 2

Third in the league on points with 434.36 and second in it at receiver with 52.9 a week, and none of that solves the immediate problem: Caleb Williams and Baker Mayfield are both listed Out and there is no third quarterback on the roster. Tight end has produced 3.2 a week, second-worst in the league. Two holes, and one of them is at the slot you cannot leave empty.

6
Chicago Beanbags▲ 6
Geenen
6this week12week 2

Bottom of this list ten days ago and the worst scorer in the league. Then 159.58, 11-0 against the field, and a 99.4% lineup. He is the only team in the league who has scored more in every week — 91.86, 137.58, 159.58 — with the best efficiency in it at 93.5% and the fewest points left on a bench at 26.90. Burrow, Chase and Bowers all turned up on the same afternoon.

7
West Adams Wolfpack
Gosling
7this week7week 2

Fourth-most points in the league at 428.40, the best receiving corps in it at 55.1 a week, the second-best lineup efficiency at 92.0% — and 1-2. He is 18-15 against the field and the second-unluckiest team in the league at it. Olave 70.50, Hurts 63.50, McCaffrey 58.00, and 8.4 a week from tight end, which is the one slot keeping this out of the top three.

8
South LA Jabronis
Javier
8this week8week 2

Lamar Jackson has started for 67.20 while Jordan Love has scored 60.76 on the bench behind him, which is the shape of the roster in one slot. He leads the league at defender with 12.3 a week and is second at tight end with 14.4, except that Dalton Kincaid has gone 18.00, 22.50, 2.80 and the slot swings with him. 92.0% efficiency and two straight defeats.

9
New York Dankees▼ 5
Drew
9this week4week 2

Nobody has been handed a harder three weeks: 467.64 points against, 8.42 more than anybody else in the league. He has also not moved a starter all season, which produced 176.78 and then 108.60. St. Brown and Stafford have 139.78 of his 415.38, the flex has produced 4.9 a week — the worst in the league — and his best slot is the kicker.

10
LA Fighting Capybaras▼ 4
Yim
10this week6week 2

176.46, then 121.24, then 103.54. That is the steepest fall in the league and one of only two lines going backwards, and last Sunday's figure lost to all eleven other teams. The defense is the best in the league at 11.7 a week, the quarterback slot is tenth at 17.7, and Jonathan Taylor's 62.50 is being asked to carry more than it can.

11
Bay State Breakers▼ 1
Ghost
11this week10week 2

The best backfield in the league at 49.8 a week, the worst receivers in it at 20.6, and the worst quarterback slot at 12.6. Jahmyr Gibbs has 97.30 across three weeks, third-most of any player in the league, and the first win finally arrived at 149.14. He is still 10-23 against the field, and Juwan Johnson has 49.30 sitting on the bench.

12
Sherwood Forrest Turkeys▼ 1
Zoz
12this week11week 2

0-3 on 358.60, the fewest points in the league, and 9-24 against the field. The tight end slot has produced 2.8 a week and no slot on any roster in this league has produced less. Dak Prescott's 77.10 is a top-five figure in the league and it has bought nothing at all. Sixteen teams have started 0-3 here and not one of them finished higher than fourth.
