The five seed won it. Mr. Irrelevant snuck into the bracket, beat Kratos, then went to top-seeded Miami to West Adams and won 110–75 in a semi-final that stopped being competitive early. Arch Villain went 9-4 and lost the final 144–115. Meanwhile West Adams Walrus put up 215 in week 10 — the highest score in league history at the time, by 24 — won the points and all-play titles, and finished fourth. The first of Dave C's two championships, and the beginning of a pattern where enormous scoring gets you a nice line in the record book and nothing else.
